I bought this dress thinking I had another lacy dress that I could easily layer over it... only to realize the other dress didn't quite work the way I wanted it to? Might be worth another shot at some point. Maybe a burgundy belt, but not a waist cincher?

Bonus: we went to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery for the "Pasticcini Flight" tea set, and it was actually kinda good!



All of the treats were ostensibly vegetarian except the apple nest thing on the top row. We were having trouble figuring out if that one was gelatin or agar, and sadly the reservations had a lot of, like, "NO EXCHANGES" type stuff on it so we just didn't ask. Everything ranged from "moderately fine" to "really quite nice, actually!" The croissant sandwich was hands down the best item. I really liked the gorgonzola cream that came with the pumpkin scone (left on the little plate), and Anblar liked the gingerbready cake with raspberries (far left on the bottom shelf). It doesn't look like a lot, but it was honestly more food than I was entirely comfortable eating in one sitting, since it was, as advertised, almost all sweets. All killer no filler.
